Thermal Energy Storage Particle

We engineer ultra-durable composite particles that circulate through next-generation concentrating solar-thermal power (CSP) plants, absorbing intense sunlight, transporting heat, and storing it for on-demand release. Scalable manufacturing keeps the price below $0.05 per kilogram, driving down capital expenses while proven stability above 800°C delivers long service life inside high-temperature receivers and storage silos. Preliminary plant layouts show that the particles drop seamlessly into Gen3 CSP loops with minimal retrofit, trimming installation schedules and ongoing maintenance. By pairing rock-bottom pricing with extreme thermal resilience, our technology pushes the levelized cost of energy to unprecedented lows—unlocking truly dispatchable, affordable solar power.

Advanced Proppant

Our advanced proppant features a specialized design that combines high crush strength, chemical resistance, and advanced heat-transfer capabilities. Engineered to extend well life, reduce maintenance disruptions, and enhance energy output in demanding geothermal reservoirs, it lowers replacement frequency and improves reservoir conductivity—helping operators move closer to the DOE “Enhanced Geothermal Shot” goal of $45/MWh by 2035 (approximately $8–$10/MWh lower than silica-based options) and aligning with the interim $60–$70/MWh target for 2030.
